Scientist, c’est le nom du nouveau groupe d' »architectural metal » (en gros un mélange d’early-Mastodon, d’Isis et d’American Heritage) du guitariste/chanteur Eric Plonka, ex-membre de Yakuza. Son deuxième album 10100II00101 sortira chez Hells Comes Home en août et en voici un premier extrait :

Alors que le premier album du groupe était en grande partie instrumental, sur 10100II00101, Scientist a fait appel à plusieurs chanteurs invités dont Stavros Giannopoulo de The Atlas Moth’s et Andre Alamarez de Pale Horseman.
