Fin 2006, Basement sortait « Everything Gets Distorted » son dernier album en date, mélange de noise rock à la Unsane et d’ambiances aux frontières du post-rock. Huit ans après revoici le trio de Libourne avec un Ep à paraitre courant Juin 2014 via Day Off, After Before et Some Produkt.

Intitulé « Counterclockwise », ce nouveau disque a été enregistré par Serge Morattel (Ventura, Knut, Tantrum) et masterisé chez Golden Mastering (Sonic Youth, The Shipping News, Neurosis), Brian Cougar se chargeant de l’artwork.
