En octobre, Sugar a fait son retour après trois décennies d’absence avec le single « House Of Dead Memories » et quelques concerts à New York et à Londres. Désormais, le groupe indie rock mené par Bob Mould est de retour avec un autre nouveau titre, « Long Live Love », ainsi que l’annonce de la tournée mondiale Love You Even Still 2026, avec notamment une date à Paris le 12 juin prochain.
« J’ai écrit Long Live Love en 2007, alors que je vivais à Washington DC, explique Mould. C’était l’ère George W. Bush, j’étais très investi dans mon univers de DJ avec Blowoff, tout en continuant d’écrire des chansons pop à la guitare. Garbage 2.0 fait partie de mes albums “désert island”, donc ce n’est pas surprenant que Long Live Love évoque un morceau de Garbage depuis longtemps perdu ! »
