BMG annonce la sortie de Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007–2009, une rétrospective consacrée au dernier chapitre de la carrière de Ronnie James Dio aux côtés de membres de Black Sabbath, réunis sous le nom Heaven & Hell. Le coffret sera disponible le 27 mars en deux formats : un box 7 LP et un box 4 CD accompagné d’un Blu-ray.

Éditée par BMG en Europe et au Royaume-Uni, et par Rhino en Amérique du Nord, cette collection retrace la période 2007–2009, marquée par la reformation du groupe avec Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler et Vinny Appice. Elle couvre la tournée de réunion, l’album studio The Devil You Know (2009) et les enregistrements live majeurs de cette époque.

Les deux éditions comprennent un livre illustré avec de nouvelles notes de pochette signées Hugh Gilmour, ainsi que des reproductions d’un programme de tournée et d’une affiche. Le coffret marque la première parution intégrale en vinyle de Live From Radio City Music Hall, avec huit titres faisant leurs débuts sur ce format, dont des morceaux issus de The Dio Years et des performances scéniques sélectionnées.

Le Blu-ray rassemble les captations vidéo de Live From Radio City Music Hall et de Neon Nights: 30 Years Of Heaven & Hell – Live At Wacken, complétées par des interviews du groupe. Une version vidéo remastérisée en HD du titre « Bible Black » est mise en ligne aujourd’hui.
